The goal of this thesis is to propose solutions for better support of SME in Vysocina district in contrast with the southmoravian district and recommend alternatives for future development. The partial goal will be to define current possibilities of how small and medium entrepreneurships can obtain a various form of support both in Vysocina and south Moravian district.

It follows approach since 2000 to today, from the view of strategic documents and its effects on culture, culture funding and advocacy.

Current resources and opportunities of public libraries funding in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to describe and evaluate the current situation regarding the funding of public libraries in the Czech Republic. The introduction comprises a concise definition of the legislative framework for funding public libraries. In the main section of the work the author deals with the system of libraries providing public library and information services and how these libraries can be established. Then the analysis of the financial resources that can be used by these libraries follows, i.e. grants by founders, national and international programs and projects to support libraries, fundraising, donating, sponsoring, patronage, volunteering, grants by foundations, libraries' own business. There is also a description of pricing and financial policy, analysis of the financial management of libraries in various regions and the influence of the economic crisis on library budgets. The main part of the thesis related to the whole Czech Republic is followed by the part aimed only at the Central Bohemian. IMPACTS OF ECONOMIC CRISIS TO CZECH THEATRE

This master's thesis describes the real impact of the financial crisis on the theatre. Both on the theatre as a discipline, and on the individual theatre groups. In the first part, the work points out the general causes of the financial crisis. It also describes its influence on the economy of Czech republic and associated revenues of the state budget. On the example of Prague's and selected regional theatres, the paper tries to define the impacts of the economic recession, and describes methods how theatres are dealing with an unfavourable situation. One part of the thesis consists of a questionnaire survey carried out among the representatives of theatre subjects, as well as among the audiences. The work deliberately avoids comparisons with the impacts of the financial crisis on other theatres in other countries, as the conditions of their existence are diametrically opposed, regardless of the crisis.

Donor programmes

This master's thesis deals with possible ways of communication between cultural organisations and donors. It focuses mainly on donor fundraising - systematized, transparent and clearly formulated donor programmes. The main part describes the gift and it's possible forms along with the possibilities of donor management including the inner organisation of work (staffing, use of databases, involvement of Board members) and particular steps of the donor cycle (identification, qualification, cultivation). A detailed analysis of the benefit programmes and various benefits is then followed by the description of donor stewardship and creating of special events. The last part of the thesis deals with corporate donors and the use of the CSR strategies for attracting them. It also seeks the connection between corporate and individual giving. Throughout the whole thesis, the theoretical findings are complemented by practical examples (both from the Czech Republic and abroad). The aim of the thesis is to describe the situation in cultural giving in the Czech Republic and create a range of options for arts managers to use when creating donor programmes for their organisations.

Návrh projektu na podporu cestovního ruchu v kraji Vysočina

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou cestovního ruchu v České republice se zaměřením na kraj Vysočina. Práce mapuje možnosti grantových programů v kraji Vysočina, vybírá vhodný grantový titul a navrhuje projekt na podporu cestovního ruchu v oblasti ubytování rodin s dětmi. V první části je zhodnocen význam a postavení cestovního ruchu v národním a mezinárodním kontextu, regionální politika, veřejné výdajové programy. Dále následuje mapování možností grantových programů v České republice a v kraji Vysočina, analýza a hodnocení cestovního ruchu v kraji Vysočina, výběr vhodného grantového titulu a návrh projektu na podporu cestovního ruchu v kaji Vysočina se zaměřením na pobyt rodin s dětmi.
